Business Development Executive - R&D Tax Credit Recovery Services

We are presently looking for a Sales Executive to build strong business relationships, develop accounts and sell service contracts. Prime responsibilities would be to:

  • Develop new clients in the eastern United States
  • Contact and follow up with potential and existing clients and manage accounts
  • Promote the company’s services, develop business development strategy to insure business growth
  • Assist in the continued development of proper promotional documents and sales tools
  • Manage our telemarketing service
  • Insure proper client relationship management and interface with in-house R&D consultants

Requirements

  • Ability to generate sales and communicate effectively with C-Level executives (CFO, Controller, VP Finance or taxation)
  • An excellent phone presence with strong English written and verbal communications skills
  • Good listening skills with the ability to analyze and discuss important business issues
  • Cold calling experience would be to your advantage
  • An outgoing personality, tenacious attitude and an unlimited drive to succeed
  • High ability to close and negotiate engagement mandates and service contracts with prospective clients
  • 5-10 years in sales of financial services at corporate level in the US Market
  • Bachelor’s degree education and technical savvy and comfort with the Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc…)

Position: Permanent
Location: Home office with some travel
Remuneration: Competitive remuneration based on experience. Some results based compensation.

R&D Tax Credit Recovery Consultant

The primary job responsibility for the R&D Consultant is to prepare Research Tax Credit (RTC) claims. The R&D Consultant will also support our clients in the evaluation of candidate R&D projects as well as prepare accompanying cost and technical substantiation. The R&D Consultant will also prepare the required technical and financial reports to support the tax credit claims.

Requirements

The R&D Consultant should have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of a college diploma in a scientific field and a minimum of two year's relevant experience. BS or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering an asset
  • Must be able to understand engineering documentation, learn quickly, and communicate effectively with engineers, scientists and technical staff.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in technical and scientific writing and communication
  • Familiarity with major industrial production process
  • Prior project management experience a definite asset
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with IT, financial and accounting systems is desirable
  • Possess perfect written and spoken English
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Position: Contractual or permanent
Location: Mostly at home office
Remuneration: Unlimited commission based revenue with optional draws
Travel: Position involves periodic travel on a monthly basis in North America
